Core Documentation
Notes from teacherType of delivery of the course
Traditional university lessons with the use of slides that are distributed to the students at the beginning of the lesson. Each lesson regards a specific item, which is described at an introductory level and completed in three hours of lessons. At the end of each item it is organized a short discussion with the students to verify the level of understanding.Attendance
Attending the lessons is not mandatory but it is strongly suggestedType of evaluation
At the end of the course, accounting for all topics covered in the program and in the frontal lessons, the student is invited to choose a topic and prepare a personalized and comprehensive oral presentation (with the support of slides) on the subject. The presentation lasts about 30-40 minutes including questions from the examination committee. The questions of the committee will focus, in particular, on the topic chosen by the student but will also tend to evaluate the basic knowledge acquired during the course in the various topics dealt with by the teacher.
