Fruizione: 20410498 Principi di Materia Condensata in Fisica L-30 GALLO PAOLA, DE SETA MONICA

Programme

The complete course consists of two parts held by two teachers.
Program of the first part (20 hours):
Introduction to statistical mechanics
Introduction to the physics of liquids and soft matter.
Thermodynamic quantities, structural quantities and dynamic quantities for the study of liquids and soft matter, including biomatter.
Introduction to the physics of glasses and disordered systems.
Introduction to the physics of solids.

Core Documentation

First part: Notes provided by the teacher

Type of delivery of the course

The complete course consists of two parts held by two teachers. Development of the first part: Frontal lessons with use of the blackboard and slides / presentations. In the event of an extension of the health emergency from COVID-19, all the provisions governing the methods of carrying out teaching activities and student evaluation will be implemented. In particular, the lessons will be held live online on teams and the material will be posted on moodle.cente

Type of evaluation

The exam is written and consists of three questions to be answered. The first two relate to the first part of the course and the third relates to the second part of the course. The accuracy of the response and the level of understanding of the phenomenon and descriptive clarity will be assessed if an extended response is required. In the event of an extension of the health emergency from COVID-19, all the provisions governing the methods of carrying out teaching activities and student evaluation will be implemented. In particular, if necessary, the exams will be held online with teams.
