Module objectives:
The Social Psychology I module aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of psychological processes that govern everyday social interactions. Focusing on topics such as social cognition, identity, persuasion and group dynamics, students will explore how these phenomena influence individual behavior and interpersonal relationships. The course will help students understand the theoretical models that explain interpersonal dynamics in contemporary society, providing the tools to apply them to real situations.

Educational Objectives
In terms of knowledge and understanding: This module will provide students with an understanding of the fundamental psychological theories in social psychology, focusing on how social cognition, identity and persuasion influence behaviors and social decisions. Students will also explore the role of conformity and group dynamics in everyday social contexts.
In terms of the application of knowledge: Students will be able to apply psychological theories to concrete social scenarios, using the knowledge acquired to analyze and interpret behavior in groups, conformity dynamics and social influences on individual decisions.
In terms of autonomy of judgment: The teaching activity, which will also include the use of the online platform, will offer students opportunities to develop autonomous judgments on how psychological dynamics influence social interactions and individual decisions. They will also be encouraged to consider ethical and social implications of their analyses.
In terms of communication skills: Students will learn to communicate clearly and scientifically the psychological processes related to interpersonal dynamics, developing skills to expose complex concepts in a way that is understandable to both specialists and non-specialists.
In terms of learning skills: The module will encourage students to develop an autonomous approach to acquiring new knowledge, using texts and theoretical models to apply them in concrete contexts, both academic and professional.
