The aim of this course is to introduce students to the sociological study of knowledge and its circulation in today’s knowledge society, from the school and university system to the worlds of research and lifelong learning.

The course program starts from a quick overview of the sociology of knowledge, providing a conceptual framework to understand the dynamics in which it is currently inserted in the global context. Particular attention is paid to the contemporary imagination that presides over the entire knowledge chain and its practical repercussions on the quality of life and on the transformations of the world of work.Core Documentation
