The course aims to provide a general overview of the main cultural and intellectual influences that have shaped the economic governance of the European Union, reconstructing, also thanks to the analysis of primary sources of the recent debate, its main steps and the state of the art of the discussion on its future evolution.

Programme

The stages and the intellectual debates/influences on European economic governance will be reconstructed in sequential terms, with particular emphasis on the documents that emerged in the most recent debate and future evolution

For English-speaking students, didactic materials will be distributed in class.

Type of delivery of the course

Examinations will be exclusively oral; and aim to test the degree of awareness acquired on the formation and evolution of the debate on European economic governance

Type of evaluation

Skills and critical capacity will be assessed
