The course examines the categories of social changes and changes described in the macro areas: diaspora and migration, economy and work, of religion and religiosity, of ITC, of ​​the family and of educational processes. The aim is to allow students to acquire theoretical and analytical skills which, in an analogical sense, have a reflection in practice for a theory of practice.

Type of delivery of the course

The teaching will be of the frontal type but, given the master's degree course, the students will be required to actively participate in the preparation through the educational platform formonline.uniroma3.it (the access key will be provided by the teacher).

Attendance

Attendance is free but it is suggested to follow the didactic activity carried out through the Department platform.

Type of evaluation

The exam takes place in written form and in an oral test. The written part consists in the drafting of a different synthetic document for the attending students and for the non-attending students. For students attending, the paper is a group work of maximum 15 pages and follows an index that will be provided in the classroom. For -attending students, the written paper (maximum 5 folders) must be submitted by email 10 days before the exam session in which you intend to take the final test (and, moreover, it is a prerequisite for taking the exam). It must have as its object a social phenomenon analyzed from the point of view of the social change produced divided into three parts: first part definition of the phenomenon, second part studies and research on the phenomenon, third part aspects of social change - social effects produced. The oral exam consists in the deepening of the texts indicated.
