Description

The TRANSIT project has been selected under the PNRR – TNE programme. Its aim is to expand the offering of Italian higher education in non-European countries, with a strategic focus on Latin America and the Far East. Roma Tre University participates as a partner, contributing to the design of joint teaching modules, academic mobility, and the global promotion of the Italian language and culture. 

Objectives

• Strengthen academic cooperation with higher education institutions outside the EU
• Promote integrated, multi-level university programmes
• Internationalise Italian university curricula
• Support student and staff mobility
• Consolidate Italian language teaching in target countries

Countries Involved

• Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia
• East Asia: China, South Korea, Vietnam

Expected Outcomes 

• Launch of international joint degree programmes
• Development of intercontinental academic networks
• Joint educational modules in Italian and multiple languages
• Shared and digital educational resources
