At Roma Tre you can enrol in Master, Specialization Courses, Refresher Courses, State Exams and the Law Specialization School.
These are high-level courses and can be of I or II level according to the access title: the first ones are accessed with a degree course, whereas the second ones are accessed with master degree courses or old system degree courses. They usually have a duration of one year and involve the attribution of at least 60 university degree credits. At the end of the course, a master degree is issued.

They usually have a duration of less than one year and involve the assignment of a variable number of university degree credits, however, under 60. Law Specialization School
The School has the aim of fostering a mindset of attitudes and competences, theories and practices that characterize the professionalism of ordinary magistrates, lawyers and notaries, also with reference to the growing international integration of legislation and legal systems and modern source techniques.
The School, which is accessed through bids for titles and examinations on a national basis, has a two-year duration for a total of 120 university degree credits.
The School is divided into a common year and in the judicial-forensic and notarial addresses.
The diploma of specialization is awarded after passing a final test consisting of a written dissertation on interdisciplinary subjects with a judgment expressed in seventy-five.
According to the Ministerial Decree 475/2001 the specialization diploma is evaluated for the purpose of completing the period of practice for access to lawyer and notary professions for a period of one year.
Law 262/2004, which contains urgent provisions on access to the competition for a hearing officer, introduces among the categories excluded from the pre-selection also those who have obtained the diploma of specialization in a legal discipline at the end of a course of study of not less than two years at a specialization school.
